Opening of Retroavangarda Gallery at Jerozolimskie Business Park
Contemporary Art Exhibition. Curator of the exhibition: Anna Kłos
Starting from April 24th, Jerozolimskie Business Park in Warsaw is holding a contemporary art exhibition, which marks the opening of a new art gallery – Retroavangarda Gallery.
Retroavangarda came to life as a virtual platform for promoting contemporary art and artists from all over the world, however, it soon moved on to organizing real exhibitions. In April this year, RA has received the opportunity of operating in the modern space of Jerozolimskie Business Park, at the same time fitting itself into the global trend of adapting commercial facilities for the needs of art promotion.
Jerozolimskie Business Park is a building complex with an established position among Warsaw’s office properties. In 2016-17, the several-years-old facilities underwent a thorough modernization. The metamorphosis of the common space of one of the buildings into a gallery of contemporary art turns it into a unique and attractive place. Jerozolimskie Business Park and Retroavangarda have the very chance of becoming recognizable on the dynamically developing art market in Poland.
The inaugural exhibition of Retroavangarda Gallery is located in three different spaces of lobby in building D and it showcases mainly posters, graphics and paintings. Among the presented artists visitors can find both artists of younger generation and the classics of Polish art with an established position on the art market.
The event is the first of a series of exhibitions planned in the gallery
