Born in 1987, Victor Kovalenko is a graphic designer from Russia (Moscow region), Middlesex University London MA Graphic Design graduate with distinction. Since 2007 he has been working on projects that involved editorial and poster design, books/catalogues design, typography, illustrations, photography, portrait graphics and layout of various publications.
He is a participant, finalist, selected and invited designer in more than 70 international and national design exhibitions and competitions. His works were presented in multiple exhibitions in 18 countries: United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Cyprus, Russia, Iran, China, South Korea, Thailand, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico.
He is the winner — 1st Prize, Posterists in the World 2019 competition (Cuzco, Peru, 2019) in Cultural poster category. Winner — 3rd Prize, 2nd PosterFest Budapest (Hungary, 2018) in Professional international graphic artists category.
In 2015 he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at Moscow Art Industrial Institute in Russia and in the same year enrolled in Master’s Degree in Graphic Design course in England at Middlesex University London. In 2016 as a member of “The Graphic Collective” team representing Middlesex University he exhibited his final MA diploma project at Dutch Design Week Eindhoven in the Netherlands. In the same year he successfully completed his MA with distinction. For the next two years he had been working as a graphic designer in one of the top educational companies in Moscow. Since April 2019 he has been studying German in Berlin and in Moscow. Currently he continues working on different design projects in Russia and international poster exhibitions.
