Tomasz Barczyk was born in 1975. Professor at the Department of Graphics at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Diploma with honors in 2001 at the same university (awarded with the Medal of Tymon Niesiołowski). He deals with visual art in the field of painting, artistic graphics (linocut, woodcut, lithography, mokulito), and visual automatic poetry. His artistic output includes several individual exhibitions (Galeria 72, Chełm, Wozownia Toruń, Galeria Spodki, Farbiarnia Warszawa) and about 200 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Works awarded and distinguished in competitions, incl. award in the 12th International Competition Józef Gielniak, a distinction in the 7th Triennial of Polish Graphics, or the 10th Quadriennial of Polish Woodcut and Linocut. His works are in the collections of Galeria 72 Museum in Chełm, the Center for Contemporary Art in Toruń, the District Museum in Bydgoszcz, the Karkonosze Museum
