Sabine Remy is a German analogue collage artist.
Collages are the perfect medium for her. She loves how accidentally and unpredictable they are. Even if she has a basic concept in her mind it always depends on the material that is available. She likes cutting and pasting elements taken from vintage paper material from the 1950s and earlier, the most because they are often a little bizarre and moreover very colorful and - especially - full of lived life. She is telling stories by combining independent pieces which than work together as one. In the end it is always a journey and she never knows where it takes her.
She is running a blog, doing collaborations with other collage artist from all continents, is a mail artist, has had several international solo exhibitions and group shows as well as publications.
