Peter Javorík was born in 1982 in Žilina, studied at the Technical University of Košice, where he obtained a doctoral degree in 2016 and a master's degree in 2012 at the Faculty of Arts, at the Department of design in the field of Visual communication. In the dissertation thesis, he devotes himself to visualization policy of European cities. He gathered his first professional experience mainly in Studio Sluka in Prague, where he worked as creative graphic designer, DTP graphic designer and printer for Fine Art. Peter broadened these experiences at the doctoral temporary study stay in Krakow (2015-2016), at internships in Palma de Mallorca (2014) and in Krakow (2011-2012) at The Academy of Fine Arts, and at the residential stay in Rotterdam within the project EHMK (2013). In 2017, he participated in Open Poster Competition 1917-2017 (Moscow) on the occasion of centenary of The October Revolution in Russia and he took part in the exhibition Wystawa znakow graficznich in Krakow. In the recent years, he succeeded in a considerable number of international exhibitions, for example at biennales in Bolivia, Italy, Ecuador, Moscow, Oswiecim, Mexico, Sofia, Monsa and Taichung, he also had individual an exhibition in Košice and Bardejov. In 2014 he earned a significant international achievement in Moscow in 2014 for poster named >>Ateizmus<< - price Golden Bee.
