Olga Severina is a Ukrainian born graphic designer and an exhibition curator currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She is the founder and curator of a PosterTerritory project that launches socially conscious poster exhibits that promote poster art and a belief that a poster has the power to change the world.
After obtaining her Ph.D. in Visual Arts Olga became involved with an International Eco-Poster Exhibition The 4th Block (Ukraine) and an International Graphic Design Biennale Golden Bee (Russia), where she served as a curator and a selection committee member for a number of years. Currently, Olga works for both poster exhibitions as the traveling exhibit curator in the United States. A few of her latest shows are: The World According to Love (Australia, 2019), Bauhaus 100 (USA, 2019) and The New Winds (co-curated with Majid Abbasi, USA, 2018), Biophilia Poster Competition and The World After poster call.
A passionate promoter of the contemporary poster, Olga Severina is an author of poster books and catalogs as well as articles for magazines like NESHAN Graphic Design Magazine and AIGA LA chapter blogs, where she explores the latest trends in visual expression.
As an artist, Olga Severina participates in a variety of poster shows and exhibitions worldwide. Most recently she took part in Cow International Design Festival (1st place) and Posters on Politics exhibit (artwork named one of the five most powerful political posters by the Daily Detroit).
