Krzysztof Franaszek was born in 1981 in Lublin.
The artist creates sculptures, objects, instalations and drawings. He graduated from Sculpture Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2006 and got his phD in art in 2013. He received scholarship of Christian Jankowski's atelier at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart (2005) and of Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2009). He presented his works at five of his solo exhibitions, as well as at group shows and projects in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, USA, Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine. Since 2006 he works as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
