"Dendrofile" is a series of collages created as part of the artistic project called "Klucz drzew". The series was created in 2017 and consists of 60 collages measuring 25 x 20cm. The works are devoted to relationships and interdependencies of human and wood nature. The matter of collages is composed of chemigrams, dried leaves, anatomical atlases, and kleksograms. These collages are authorized (within one work) by the artists Marek Przybyła and Krzysztof Szlapa.
Marek Przybyła was born in Katowice. He is 65 years old and lives in Sosnowiec. An artist painter, graphic artist, drawer, illustrator and sculptor. A Katowice art school graduate. A member of the Bellmer Society and the ZPAP Katowice branch. He also does prose and essay. He published three books. An author of over 30 individual exhibitions and participant of over 30 collective exhibitions. From 2015 he co-creates the artistic project "Klucz drzew" with Krzysztof Szlapa.
Krzysztof Szlapa was born in 1987 in Katowice. An artist photographer. An author of individual exhibitions and participant of collective exhibitions, curator at Galeria Pusta cd. in Jaworzno and ZA SZYBĄ Gallery in Katowice, secretary of the Association of Polish Art Photographers, Silesian District, participant of Szkoła Widzenia and Grupa 999, scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship in the field of culture, winner of Anna Chojnacka young creator prize. Szlapa organizes photo workshops for children, youth and adults in cooperation with various institutions and runs his own photo meetings for people of all ages.
