“The artist draws and prints using a kind of woodcut prints on paper and then adapts the previously monochrome sheets via scalpel drawings, creating cutouts. In the sequel, she uses these unique sheets of paper as basic material for her wallobjects and space filling installations. In this process she stacks several transparent and opaque sheets of paper yielding new mixed colors via the overlays. This is a continuation of the well-known method of printing on two-dimensional paper into three-dimensional space. In the classical process, new colors develop through mixture; in the artist’s works, quasi optic mixtures occur as the result of overlays of several sheets of printed paper.“
