Jan Bokiewicz – graphic designer, typographer. Born in 1941. In 1967 he graduated from Warsaw’s Academy of Fine Arts. A collaborator of most important Polish publishing houses. Samizdat activist. In 1985 Jan Bokiewicz received a Prize of the Committee of Independent Culture of “Solidarity” Trade Union. He also received many prizes of Polish and international contests of graphic design for publishing industry and poster art. He lives in Warsaw.
