Born in 1993,Ivan Kashlakov is a visual artist and a Web & Graphic designer based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated BA and MA at the National Academy of Art in “Poster and visual communication”. At the moment works in the field of UI, web and digital.
He is an Executive Director member at United Designs Alliance(UDA), Honorary member of China Europe International Design Culture Association(CEIDA), member in New Vision International Group (NVIG) and Graphis Professional Membership. Took part in 125 group international exhibitions around the world with posters, paintings and drawings in South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, USA, Dubai, Peru, Iran, Mexico, Ecuador, Bulgaria and other countries.
Received 25 awards and distinctions among which: Prize for Young Author - A bronze plaque by Georgi Chapkanov in memory of the eminent Bulgarian artist Assen Stareyshinski at the Ninth International Triennial of Stage Poster– Sofia 2019 (Bulgaria);Two Silver Awards and an Honorable distinction in Graphis Poster Annual 2021(USA);Silver Award in category D “Animated poster” in Ecuador Poster Biennial 2020; Communication Art’s Award of Excellence in the 11th 2021 Typography Competition and others.
He was also invited by the United Designs Alliance (UDA) as part of the honorary jury of the 2019 Idea Design Competition.
He loves to travel and create posters and paintings in his free time and to experiment with visual materials. “I see poster design as a creative field in which there are unlimited ways of expressing universal ideas.”
