Germán Jiménez (Bucaramanga, Colombia) is graphic designer graduated from the University of Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano in 1993.
His professional practice specializes in design of visual identity, editorial design, posters design, signage and communication for private, public and cultural companies. Actually is professor in the University of Santander UDES and University Foundation UNC Comfenalco Santander and has worked for several years as consultant and teacher of design in the Pontifical Bolivarian University Bucaramanga and other academic institutions. Lives and works in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
From 1995 it develops projects from Bucaramanga, Colombia. He has been professor of the Faculty of Social Communication at the Pontifical Bolivarian University Bucaramanga since 1999, creator, coordinator and professor of the First Diplomaed in Graphic Communication at the Pontifical Bolivarian University Bucaramanga, professor of Graphic Design Program at the Design and Communication Area in the UDI, professor of Marketing & Advertising Program at the University of Santander UDES, director of Alternate Spaces Visual Arts Project Bucaramanga and editor of the Alternate Magazine. In 2002 creates Taller Azul Design Studio, participating in this project until 2007. Since 2008 creates and runs his own studio.
His graphic work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions since 1992.
