Eduardo Barrera Arambarri, Mexico City, 1974. Studied a major in Graphic Design at the National School of Plastic Arts, UNAM. Attended workshops by Jukka Veistola, Takashi Akiyama, Marna Bunnell, Peter Pocs and Uwe Loesch. In 1996, Barrera designed several publications for the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico and the Ludica design magazine. In 1999-2000 he was Art Director for Leo Burnett Mexico and Creative Director for Magic Moments Agentur für Kommunikation, in Vienna, Austria. Since 2001, Eduardo works at his own studio, designing posters for cultural events and corporate design. His work has been shown in many countries, and published in catalogues, compilations, magazines and other specialized publications such as “Graphic Agitation 2”, “Étapes graphiques” ,“Graphic Designers from Mexico”, and “Latin American and Caribbean Graphic Design”. Barrera's work has been short-listed in several poster Biennales, and was awarded with the Bronze medal in the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico; Bronze medal in the International Triennale in Kharkov, Ukraine, '4th Block"; with Erick Beltran designed the publication Ergo Sum and won Grand Prix in the Brno Biennale.
