Agustina Cosulich


Agustina Cosulich is a graphic designer and visual artist from Argentina. She works at the National University of Mar del Plata Publishing House, in the United Nations (UN Women Argentina) and as a freelance designer, serving both local and international clients. Her expertise lies in editorial, identity and poster design, with a keen focus on addressing social, gender, environmental and cultural issues. Furthermore, she has worked as a professor.

Her artwork has been showcased in over 40 biennials and design festivals across the globe, including the Emirates International Poster Festival (Dubai), the Italian Poster Biennial, the World Pattern Design Competition (China), the Hakka International Poster Exhibition (China), the Poster Quadrennial Bardejov (Slovakia), the International Invitational Poster Festival (Turkey), the Athens Video Art Festival (Greece), the International Poster Biennial in Mexico, the Bolivia Poster Biennial, Uruguay Cartel and The commemorate of Rene Wanner (Iran), among others. As a member of the collective poster collection “Voices in Freedom” (organized by the International Poster Biennial in Mexico in 2010), her artwork was exhibited in more than 100 cities across 40 countries. Additionally, she has participated in two collective exhibitions at the prestigious Retroavangarda Gallery in Warsaw, Poland.

She has served as a jury member in four international poster design competitions: 1st and 2nd Posterist International Poster Exhibition (Fatih Sultan Mehmet Universitesi, Turkey, 2022 and 2023), “Escucha Mi Voz” (Mexico, 2021) and “Coronavirus. Living the new normal” (organized by Manzana 1 Espacio de Arte, Bolivia, 2020). In addition, she has taken part as a jury member in four logo design competitions in Argentina.

Her poster titled "The Metamorphosis" obtained the 3rd place at the Poster Quadrennial Bardejov (Slovakia, 2017) as well as the 3rd place at the Bolivia Poster Biennial (2017).

She is a member of the BICEBE International Poster Design Council.

She acted as a curator for the "Women in Graphic Design" project, a website that showcases the creative endeavors of numerous female designers from across the globe. The project serves as a platform for exhibition, exchange, and knowledge-sharing among colleagues. Her contributions were particularly geared towards promoting women designers from Latin America, highlighting their talent and achievements.

In 2018, she took charge of coordinating the workshop titled "OCEAN POSTERS against plastic pollution," becoming a part of the esteemed international project initiated by German designer Helmut Langer, which saw active participation from 35 universities worldwide. The primary objective was to amplify the voice of young individuals and demonstrate to them the potential of design as a powerful tool for fostering environmental care and awareness. Through this collaborative effort, they aimed to inspire young minds to utilize design in advocating for a healthier planet and a more conscious world.

Her artwork has been featured in various prestigious publications, including "Head to Toe: The Nude in Graphic Design" by Mirko Ilic and Steven Heller (USA, 2018), "Social Design. Essays on social design in Argentina" by Maria Laura Nieto and Maria Ledesma (Editorial Prometeo, Argentina), "Voces en Libertad" (Poster Biennial in Mexico, 2010), and "Latin American Design: Posters 2007" (Universidad de Palermo, 2007). Additionally, her work has graced the pages of the design magazine "DPI Magazine" (Taiwan, 2011) and various design catalogues.
