Pere Sousa, poet and art zinesters, in the 90s created the Cultural Activism Factory Merz Mail from which has promoted various meetings of experimental poetry, mail art exhibitions and publishing of artistic publications. He has collected the poetic production of the historical vanguards, mainly Dada and Merz, and participated in numerous festivals, conferences and phonetic poetry recitals. P.O.BOX zine editor (1994-1999) and 598 that are still published since 2002. He has published several essays of mail art, experimental poetry and “Kurt Schwitters”. He has done for several years the program “Hunters & Collectors” on Radio Pica specialized in phonetic poetry and edits the web merzmail.net focused on mail art, experimental poetry, Kurt Schwitters and other art projects.
